DAY 1 CAPPADOCIA: Arrive in Cappadocia.Transfer to hotel Over night in cappadocia.

DAY 2 CAPPADOCIA - NEMRUT MOUNTAIN: Departure in the morning from cappadocia,After pass Kayseri visit the 13 th centyry Seljukian Caravansarai "Karatayhan".The next stop will be in Pinarbasi for a short tea break than drive to Tekir for Lunch.Take a picture of the beautiful scenery of the Tekir Valley.Drive to Kahraman Mara? to have world famous icecream, than drive to Kahta.Tea break,transfer to hotel,O/N Nemrut ( L-D )

DAY 3 NEMRUT HARRAN: Very early departure up to the ruins, After get off the minibus twenty five minutes climbing on foot to the top where you will watch the beautiful sun rise between the colossal size statues and heads of the kings and Gods. After sun rised time to walk around and taking pictures. Then drive back to the hotel for breakfast. Drive to Kahta, on the way visit the ruins of the arsemia Roman bridge of Cendere and Tümülüs Tomb of Karakus. Tea break in Kahta. Drive to Şanly Urfa-Harran on the way visit Ataturk Dam which is the biggest dam in Middle east. C/in to hotel in Şanly Urfa,after lunch visit Abrahams Cave and the Pools of Holy Carp surrounding it, than walk around oriental covered bazaar drive to Harran a village of Spellbinding Mud-Birck "beehive" houses mentioned in the book of genesis where Abraham spend last years of his life.Visit the ruins of Harran including city walls, oldest islamic university and the castle dated to eighteen century. After the sun set drive back to the hotel, dinner and O/N Sanli Urfa (B-L-D )

    Day 2 : ST. SOPHIA This ancient basilica, built by Constantine the Great in the 4th century and reconstructed by Justinian in the 6th century, is one of the architectural marvels of all time.
    SULTANAHMET IMPERIAL MOSQUE Across from St. Sophia built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet, is known as the

    BLUE MOSQUE because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles.
    HIPPODROME Ancient Hippodrome, the scene of chariot races, with the three monuments; the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine.

    GRAND COVER BAZAAR In this labyrinth of streets and passages are more then 4,000 shops with eachtrade having its own area: the goldsmiths' street, the carpet sellers, Turkish arts and crafts, such as handpainted ceramic plates, hand-honed copperware, brassware and trays, water ewers, onyx-ware and meerschaum pipes.

    Day 3 :TOPKAPI PALACE The great palace of the Ottoman sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries housing an exquisite collection of cyrstal, silver, and Chinese porcelain, robes worn by the sultans and their families, the famous jewels of the Imperial Treasury, miniatures, the Holy Mantle; enshrining relics of the Prophet Mohammed.

    SÜLEYMANIYE MOSQUE The mosque of Süleyman the Magnificent was built between 1550 and 1557 by the famous architect Sinan whose wish was to surpass the builders of St. Sophia which is conspicuous from its great size, emphasized by the four minarets rising one from each corner of the courtyard.

    BOSPHORUS ON BOAT A traditional excursion by boat along the waterway seperating Europe and Asia.The shore is lined with old wooden villas, palaces of marble, fortresses, and small fishing villages. During the excursion you will pass the magnificent Dolmabahçe Palace, and further along, the parks and imperial pavillions of Yildiz Palace. On the coastal edge of this park, is Çiragan Palace, 300 meters of is marble facade faces the shore. At Ortaköy a great variety of artists gather every Sunday to display their work along the street. Ortaköy is a symbol of tolerance with a church, a mosque and a synagogue existing side by side for centuries.

Day 1. TRABZON
Arriving at Trabzon International Airport or otogar transfer to hotel, dinner and brief information about the trip, and overnight stay in Trabzon.

Day 2 . TRABZON ,
Depart for St. Sophia ( Ayasofya ), a 13th century church and study its extraordinary collection of Byzantine frescoes, depart for Gulbahar Hatun Mosque, Castle and Ataturk's Mansion (a picturesque hillside retreat), visit Ortahisar Mosque (a Comneni cathedral in the old town). Lunch at a seaside restaurant in Akçaabat. Afternoon walking tour to laydies bazaar, grand bazaar and Kunduracılar Street . Drive to Boztepe, drink tea and enjoy the panoramic view of the city. Dinner & overnight stay in Trabzon.

Day 3. TRABZON, SUMELA MONASTERY, ZIGANA, KARACA CAVE, ERZURUM
Depart for Sumela Monastery, visit the 4th century Sumela Monastery which clings to a sheer cliff face in a deep forest, relax beside a fast flowing stream at Altındere Valley National Park , lunch, travelling along the Silk Road through the Zigana Mountains ( Pontic Alps) will take us to Karaca Cave , considered to be the most beautiful in Turkey for its colors and formations. Drive to Erzurum via Bayburt. Dinner & overnight stay in Erzurum .


Day 4 . TORTUM, OSK-VANK, YUSUFELI, ISHAN, ERZURUM
Drive to Artvin , visit Georgian ChurchOsk-Vank and Tortum Waterfalls. River Coruh Valley will take us to Yusufeli and other Georgian Church Ishan. End of the day we'll be in Erzurum . Dinner and O/N in Erzurum . Because of the low water level Tortum Waterfall worth to see between first of April to end of June.

 

Day 5. ERZURUM, KARS
Morning visit to Seljuk monuments; Ulu Mosque , Cifte Minareli Medrese , Yakutiye . Drive to Kars , visit Havariler Church and Kars Castle , dinner and O/N in Kars.

Day 6. ANI, DOGUBEYAZIT
Morning tour to medieval Armenian capital of Ani , impressive fortified walls still encircle the ruins of numerous churches, mosques and caravanserais. Lunch en route drive to Dogubeyazit, passing by the eternally snow-covered Biblical Mt. Ararat . After arrive at Dogubeyazit we visit 2 nd largest meteor falls of World and Noah's Ark at Mt. Ararat. Dinner and O/N in Dogubeyazit.

 
Day 7. VAN
Morning visit to Ishak Pasha Palace .Departure for Van via Muradiye Fall , visiting the citadel of Van; the site of Tushba, capital of Urartians. Enjoying the scenery on Lake Van , excursion to the island of Ahtamar to visit the Holly Cross Church , famous for old testament reliefs on the outer wall. Dinner and overnight in Van . 

Day 8. CAVUSTEPE , VAN
Departure for Cavustepe and Hosap Castle . Drive to Van, after visit city fortress and Van Museum arrive at Van Airport for a homebound flight, and say farewell...
